Machine Learning
Machine learning solutions are part of our Digitizing Manufacturing service but already provide advanced data models and algorithms for semi-automated/automated processes.
What is Machine learning?
Machine learning is a subset of artificial intelligence (AI) that involves the development of algorithms and models capable of learning from data. It empowers computers to identify patterns, make predictions, and continuously improve their performance without being explicitly programmed.
Machine learning can be categorized into three main types:
1
Supervised Learning: In this method, algorithms are trained on labeled data, which means the model learns to make predictions by mapping inputs to desired outputs. It’s widely used in applications like image recognition, spam email filtering, and recommendation systems.
2
Unsupervised Learning: Unsupervised learning involves finding patterns in data without any predefined labels. Clustering and dimensionality reduction are common techniques in this category, often used in customer segmentation and anomaly detection.
3
Reinforcement Learning: This type of learning is used to train agents to make sequences of decisions in an environment to achieve a particular goal. It has applications in gaming, robotics, and autonomous systems.
